Our Mission
Equation International is dedicated to orchestrating seamless
development and sourcing of quality goods for all levels of the
wholesale, retail, and service marketplaces.
Experience
Equation was founded by Dave Hoots, who began international
sourcing efforts in 1995. Since that time he has been involved in all aspects of
sourcing and supply chain management under the Equation masthead. Additionally he spent 15 years as a founding partner in an import/wholesale company creating a national brand as well as successfully developing and supplying owned-brand merchandise for one of the largest retailers in the US.
Dave has substantial on-the-ground experience and longtime contacts throughout
Asia including Thailand, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India in a wide variety of product categories.
Equation is deliberately small to stay agile in a fast-moving environment and
relies on carefully curated relationships with suppliers and professionals
around the globe to make things happen quickly and smoothly for our clientele,
from initial design to delivery. We also partner with a strong network of trusted network of brokers, salespeople, sourcing, and logistics professionals in the US representing
decades of experience.
